Afternoon Half Day Daintree Cruise & Bird Tour Code: FF3

This half day bird watching and wildlife tour includes a boat cruise in the Daintree River. One can encounter a variety of birds, crocodiles and tree snakes. Over 40 bird species can be spotted during this tour and some of the regular sightings are Helmeted Friar Bird, White Bellied Sea Eagle, Metallic Starlings, Bush Thick-Knee, Papuan Frogmouth, Shining Flycatcher, and Forest, Azure and Little Kingfishers.

The Daintree bird watching tour begins at around 1.30pm in the afternoon on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from Port Douglas. Return is at around 6.00pm. The boat cruise in the river is on a state of the art craft with digital camera onboard. Included in the package are afternoon refreshments. Binoculars, reference books & insect repellent can be hired / purchased. Transfers from Cairns are available at additional cost. The tour is arranged for small groups 2 to 6 persons in size.
