Comprising 16 secluded air conditioned villas with a maximum of 32 guests at any time, this Cairns resort is located at Bedarra Island about 4km off the North Queensland coast, between Townsville and Cairns. It can be reached via a 45 minutes flight from Cairns or a 20 minute boat transfer from Dunk Island off Mission Beach. Mission beach is 2 hours by road from Cairns. Limousine service is available between Cairns International Airport and Mission Beach.

The Bedarra Island Resort features fresh water swimming pool and heated plunge pool, tennis court, gymnasium, therapeutic massage and spa treatment, daily laundry service, internet facilities, and fax facility. The superbly appointed villas of the Bedarra Island Resort have separate living rooms, bath room, private balcony and king size bed room. The Split & Double level villas are provided with satellite TV, hair dryer, tea / coffee making facility, and mini bar with tree filtered water views. There is a restaurant serving sea food and exotic tropical produce as well as a bar & lounge which is open 24 hours. Visitors to the Bedarra Island Resort can enjoy complimentary activities like catamaran sailing, paddle skiing, snorkeling, fishing and exploring the beaches in motorized dinghies. Other activities which can be arranged from the Bedarra Island Resort are scheduled snorkeling & scuba diving trips to the Great Barrier Reef, therapeutic massage on the beach or in the villa, private reef & sailing charters and the many other tourism activities available on Dunk Island. Children 12 years and below are not catered to at Bedarra Island.

This faboulous resort is located is located approximately 4 kilometres off the Tropical North Queensland coast, midway between Townsville and Cairns.
Once arriving at Cairns you can hop on a short 45 minute flight to Dunk Island and then take a 20 minute boat ride to the resort.
Alternatively a boat transfer operates from Mission beach 3 times a day.
