Cairns Diving Code: rmThis Cairns Diving tour departs daily at 9am from Marlin Jetty, with return air conditioned coach transfers available to Cairns, the Northern Beaches and Port Douglas. The destination is a purpose built 2 level platform situated on the Outer Barrier Reef. During the Cairns cruise you will be treated to an onboard briefing, including a Great Barrier Reef presentation by a marine naturalist. The reef cruise Cairns will take you on a journey through the beautiful waters of Cairns, before arriving at your base on the Outer Barrier Reef for the day at approximately 10:30am. Morning tea will be provided. All equipment for snorkelling and diving instructions are provided or you have the option of bringing your own. If getting wet isn’t really for you, then you do have an alternative to experience the beauty the reef has to offer, with the Semi Sub tours and the Underwater Observatory available. Once you have finished exploring the underwater paradise, you may like to relax and work on your tan on the upper sundeck lounges, or for those who like to get out of the sun have the alternative of the lower deck, which is a shaded area. There is a hot/cold tropical buffet lunch served at around 12:30pm, also a licensed bar and souvenirs are available. After lunch its back to the water or you can enjoy the fish feeding display. You will be served afternoon tea and then you will depart for the mainland. This Cairns diving tours will have you back to the main land by approximately 5:15pm, filled with a rich experience of one of the wonders of the world - The Great Barrier Reef.
People who have asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, heart issues or some other medical conditions may not be allowed to do an introductory dive.
