If you want to explore the Cairns Great Barrier Reef area, a 3 nights and 4 days Cairns Diving Liveaboard tour is a great idea. Great Barrier Reef Cairns and the surrounding Coral Sea area is an extremely beautiful area which attracts a numerous visitors each year. Cairns Great Barrier Reef is considered as one of the natural wonders of the world and the vessels used for diving tours in this region are well equipped.
The Cod Hole region is one of the best Cairns SCUBA diving Liveaboard locations. Known for it's giant size fish including Potato Cod and Maori Wrasse. The Ribbon Reefs region is another site for diving, where you can find dwarf Minke Whales from June to August. You may also be able to see reef sharks on this tour. Experienced guides accompany you as you dive.
This tour starts every Tuesday when you will leave Cairns at 5.00 pm and move towards the dive sites. The tour finishes the following Friday. You can be back to Cairns after this tour full of adventure at 3.30 pm. You need high level of fitness for this tour. Although guides are there to support you, it is recommended for experienced divers only. You must carry your dive certification card, and bring motion sickness tablets with you.
People who have asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, heart issues or some other medical conditions may not be allowed to dive.
