This 3 Berth Camper Van Rental Cairns is fully self-contained with all the features of a larger Campervan. This Cairns camper van can accommodate up to 3 adults, has a shower, toilet and 240 volt air-conditioning. The bedding configuration is a single bunk bed at the rear, which can be raised whilst not in use plus the dinette will convert into a double bed.
The campervan has huge storage areas for luggage and is very economical to operate.

General Conditions
INSURANCE EXCESS
The vehicle comes with a basic insurance cover. In the unlikely event of an accident an Insurance excess is payable by the hirer. For this vehicle the excess is $6000 and a credit card swipe of $6000 will be taken at the time of pick-up. For $26 per day extra you can reduce the insurance excess to $2000. For $45 per day you can reduce the insurance excess to $450. If you take the $45 per day option you will also be covered for overhead damage, underbody damage, a maximum of one windscreen replacement and a maximum of two tyre replacements. The insurance does not cover willful damage,water submersion, driving on restricted roads or driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
DEPOT HOURS Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 3:00pm. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays are by appointment only.
VEHICLE CHECK IN TIME When you pick up or drop off a vehicle it must be according to the above depot hours.

MINIMUM DAY RENTALS BETWEEN DEPOTS Minimum rental is seven days. All one-way rentals between depots are for a minimum of fourteen days.
ONE WAY RENTALS A 14 Day minimum and one way fee applies to rentals as follows:
Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Cairns $195.
Perth $495.
Darwin $600.
The higher of the fees above applies where you travel one way between the cities above.
Eg. A one rental from Cairns to Darwin would have a one way fee of $600.
DAILY HIRE CONDITIONS Calculates the hire of a vehicle on a per calendar day basis (within depot hours) ie irrespective of the time of collection or return within those hours. When calculating the number of days a vehicle is rented the day of pick-up is counted as the first day of the rental. The day of drop-off is counted as the final rental day.
DRIVERS A current motor vehicle driver's licence is required and must be produced on pick-up. Should a foreign licence be in a language other than English, it must be accompanied by a current International Driving Permit, issued in the same country as the foreign licence was issued, or by an accredited English translation of that foreign licence.
DRIVERS AGE The minimum age for drivers is 25 years. The maximum age is 75 years. Arrangements can be made for drivers aged between 21 and 24 years of age, subject to additional insurance charges.
TYRE & WINDSCREEN DAMAGE The renter will be responsible for tyre and windscreen damage unless the maximum insurance cover has been taken out.
CLEANING FEE ON RETURN OF VEHICLE A cleaning fee of $120 will be charged if the vehicle is not returned in reasonable condition. Charging of such fee will be at the depot manager"s discretion. The vehicle must be returned with the toilet emptied (if applicable), otherwise a cleaning fee of $100 will be charged
LPG GAS FOR COOKING The gas bottle is supplied full and is to be returned full which may cost up to $20.00.
RENTAL PAYMENTS
All rental charges and security bonds must be paid in full prior to or on the day of the commencement of the rental. Please note that payment can only be made by Visa or Mastercard. It is your responsibility to ensure that your credit card has sufficient funds and/or sufficiently high enough daily transaction limit. No vehicle will be released under any circumstances until the rental payment and Security Bond is paid in full.
