Cairns Snorkel Code: star
Cairns Snorkel offers a day packed full of Great Barrier Reef cruising, diving, snorkelling and relaxing. If you prefer a more personalised, smaller group tour, this is ideal. The catamaran caters to a maximum of 30 passengers per day.Start your Cairns Snorkel tour with a cruise to the first destination of the day - Michaelmas Cay - where diving & snorkelling from the catamaran are available, as well as a ferry to the beach if you prefer to snorkel in calmer waters or relax on the pristine sands. This is also a superb location for birdwatchers. As Cairns Snorkel is the first vessel to reach Michaelmas Cay each day, you can enjoy it's serenity in the early morning. Introductory and Certified scuba dives are available. After a couple hours at Michaelmas Cay, the Cairns Snorkel tour departs for Hastings Reef, the second destination for the day. As the catamaran cruises along you can enjoy a hot & cold tropical buffet lunch and perhaps see dolphins, turtles and wales alongside. At Hastings Reef on the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef you can participate in Scuba Diving, Snorkelling, a Glass Bottom Boat tour and swim amongst the myriad of marine life of this natural wonder of the world. Then return to Cairns on another short cruise. Certain medical conditions may prevent you from diving, please enquire when booking. The minimum age for diving is 12 years old. There are daily departures at 7.40am from Cairns with returns at around 4.30pm. Seasonal Rates
