General ConditionsINSURANCE EXCESS The vehicle does come with an insurance cover, however in the unlikely event of an accident an insurance excess is payable by the hirer. For this vehicle there is a collision excess of $2750 for accidents with another vehicle and $5000 for a single vehicle accident. This is reducible by paying an extra $22.50 a day which reduces the $2750 down to $500 for accidents with another vehicle and reduces the $5000 down to $2500 for a single vehicle accident. A security bond will be "frozen" on your credit card for the amount of $1000 if the extra $22.50 is not paid and $100 if the extra $22.50 is paid. When the vehicle is returned to the depot in the same condition as it left your security bond will be "unfrozen". VEHICLE CHECK IN TIME Vehicle pick-up and drop-off is between 8:00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday and between 8:00am and 2.00pm Saturday and between 9:00am and 12.00pm Sunday. Complimentary Cairns hotel or airport pick up is provided within these hours. CHILD SEATS Capsules, Baby seats, and boosters are available upon request. MINIMUM DAY RENTALS Minimum rental is one day. ONE WAY RENTALS There is no one way rentals possible with this vehicle. DAILY HIRE CONDITIONS Calculates the hire of the vehicle on a per 24 hour day basis. For example if you collect the car at 11.30am it is due for return at 11.30am on your last day of hire. DRIVERS All drivers must possess a full valid/current driving license issued in their country of origin; alternatively a current international driving license will suffice. To ensure we can validate the details thereon all foreign driving licences must be in English or accompanied by an official endorsed English translation. PASSPORT To validate hirer or driver identity all non Australian residents must tender their passport at the time of vehicle collection. DRIVERS AGE The above rates are valid for drivers aged 25-75 years. NON SMOKING To eliminate the risk of damage to the upholstery and interior of the vehicle and for the comfort of non smokers, smoking is prohibited in all our vehicles. RETURN OF VEHICLE The vehicle should be returned with the same amount
of petrol as when it was picked up, and should be returned by the due time to
avoid a late fee. There is also no refund or part refund for early return of
