For those who are interested in driving leisurely through Rainforests, the Australian Outback and the North Queensland Coast, this 3 day / 2 Night Cape Tribulation Cooktown Tour is not to be missed. Included in this package are wildlife spotting drive in the Daintree River, guided walkthrough the Daintree World Heritage Rainforest, picnic lunch in jungle stream canopy, river crossing in cable ferry and other exciting activities. The first day begins with a drive in air conditioned 4WD from Cairns to Cooktown along the scenic coastal route. After spending the entire day on a guided tour of the magnificent World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest with a cruise in the river, walkthrough, swimming and more. The night is spent at Cape Tribulation. Day 2 begins with a drive through the Bloomfield Track which is a 4WD only road to Cooktown. Crossing rivers and mountains, then arrive at the Lion Dens Hotel, one of the oldest Australian Bush Pubs for lunch. The journey continues through the mysterious Black Mountain to reach Cooktown in the afternoon. The 360 degrees view from the Grassy Hill top of the Coral Sea, the Endeavour River and Cooktown would be every photographer’s delight. The night stop is at Cooktown itself. Day 3 is free for visitors to explore the historic monuments of Cooktown, visit the famous James Cook Museum, undertake the optional Aboriginal Rock Art Tour, and walk down the historic streets. The return to Cairns is in late afternoon via the scenic Mulligan Highway. The tour starts on Sundays and Wednesdays at 7.00am and ends on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9.30pm
