The Daintree Wilderness Lodge is located in Mossman, about 90 minute drive from Cairns airport. It has a restaurant and bar that offers fresh local sea food, tropical fruits and a range of specially selected wines. There is also a swimming pool and an outdoor spa at the Daintree Wilderness Lodge. Some of the activities visitors can indulge in include bird watching, guided rainforest night tours, fishing, horse riding, safari tours, river wildlife cruises, crocodile spotting and snorkeling and diving in the Great Barrier Reef. There is also beautiful Cow Bay & Thorntons beach for a leisurely stroll with tropical fruit and ice-cream tasting. Cape Tribulation is 2.5 hours each way from Cairns.
Three shuttle buses per day will transfer guests from Cairns city or airport to Cape Tribulation at a cost of $65 per person each way or $130 return.
