Diving Cairns is an an unforgettable day trip to the Great Barrier Reef featuring diving & snorkelling. Float amongst coral formations teeming with colourful tropical fish and an amazing variety of exotic marine life. Relax on the sundeck or see the reef from the comfort of a glass bottom boat. For the more adventurous, take a thrilling boom netting ride. Suitable for all levels of experience this great Cairns scuba diving experience has free SCUBA diving demonstrations. And of course, Certified Diving is a well catered to also.
Two unique Great Barrier Reef locations are the destinations everyday. Hastings Reef is alive with seemingly endless varieties of vivid tropical fish, and "Wally" the Giant Maori Wrasse. This marine park is well known for Moray Eels, Giant Clam gardens & huge Cod. The second destination of the dive tour is Breaking Patches, located near Michaelmas Cay, and renowned for large sea fans, Black Coral Trees and over 400 different species of coral. This tour operator has been granted a special permit to visit this pristine area.
People who have asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, heart issues or some other medical conditions may not be allowed to do an introductory dive.
This boat is currently undergoing maintenance and will not be operating until Dec 1 2008.
