Each year at selected times Captain Cook Cruises offer very special 7-night adventure cruises which will take you to the very north eastern islands of Fiji via the more well known Yasawa and Mamanuca island groups. Onboard the small luxury cruise ship M.V. Reef Escape you will explore a new and remote destination every day including historic Ovalau (Fiji's old capital), Bourma Waterfall lagoon, Taveuni Island with it's turquoise sea and white beaches, extinct volcanic craters and perfect coral cay's. En route to the dateline on Taveuni Island, M.V. Reef Escape will stop for snorkeling on marine covered reef's, Island walks and historical townships visits. During your 7-night Fiji Dateline Cruise the M.V. Reef Escape will be staffed with a team of adventure specialists including onboard marine naturalist, dive master, and local guides who will show you the reefs, ecology, history, art and culture of your Fiji Dateline cruise with Captain Cook Cruises.

Tuesday - Day one of your Fiji cruise will see you welcomed aboard M.V. Reef Escape with a traditional lei and complimentary fruit punch as your Fiji cruise ship departs Nadi for your first Fiji Island stop. Captain Cook Cruises Fiji has its own exclusive island away from the crowds of cruise boats. Here on Tivua Island you can enjoy a twilight swim, snorkel or relax on the white sandy beach before dinner on M.V. Reef Escape.
Wednesday - Sees your Fiji Cruise ship heading north and around the top of Fiji's main island. Cruising past the Yasawa Islands M.V. Reef Escape will give you fabulous views of Viti Levu. During the day you will have two different island stopovers allowing time for snorkeling and island exploration. Take this time to start unwinding, relax into your Fiji cruise and get to know your fellow Fiji cruise passengers. Tonight pre-dinner cocktails will be served and in the background music will be played on the ships own Baby Grand Piano. A world famous event will happen tonight and you can take part in Captain Cook Cruises famous Fijian shipboard Crab Races.
Thursday - Your luxury Fiji Cruise ship will arrive into the port of Levuka which is on a beautiful South Pacific Island called Ovalau. Levuka was the first European settlement in Fiji and became the cent re of British colonial administration and trade. You will have the opportunity to join an optional tour of the area which takes in the 19th Century colonial architecture and waterfront promenades. Later that afternoon Captain Cook Cruises Fiji staff will escort you for a visit to the children of Marist Convent Primary School.
Friday - Is the day where you finally reach the Fijian Dateline. During the morning your cruise ship will arrive at Taveuni Island which lies on the 180th Meridian, the arbitrary line between today and tomorrow. From this Fiji location you can literally have one foot in the past and one foot in the future, a unique experience! After lunch there will be time to explore the wonders of the Fiji reef system using snorkel equipment or take a ride in the glass bottom coral viewing boat. Tonight enjoy the tastes of Fiji with a traditional earth oven lovo feast with fresh local seafood, meat and succulent tropical fruits. Lastly try you skills at Fijian dancing to the beats of drums and a Kava ceremony.
Saturday - M.V. Reef Escape will today visit the furthermost eastern most point on your Fiji cruise which is the island of Wailagilala. Wailagilala Islands remote location and complete lack of terrestrial water run-off make its waters amazingly crystal clear. The sand island is surrounded by a spectacular lagoon and coral reef system. A full day is spent here allowing you to enjoy this beautiful Fiji island.
Sunday - Captain Cook Cruises Fijian ship M.V. Reef Escape will dock at port of Savusavu which is located on fiji's second biggest island Vanua Levu. Savusavu is positioned on one of Fiji's extinct volcanic craters where you can still see steam flowing out of hot springs. During the day your local Fijian villages will invite you to join their choral church service, an experience not to be missed. The crew from Captain Cook Cruises will guide you in a walk around the township before boarding your cruise ship.
Monday - Will see your cruise ship heading south back towards to mainland for Manava Cay. During the morning you will have time for a swim, snorkel or beach combing before re boarding for lunch and homeward Fiji cruise. Late in the afternoon the ship will stop at the mysterious Mystery Island. Later that night feel free to join the crew in your sulu (sarong) for all the celebrations of a South Pacific Island Cruise Finale.
Tuesday - Enjoy your last breakfast with Captain Cook Cruises whilst reminiscing the last 7 days of your fabulous Fijian cruise before fare welling your new friends and crew
