Witness the true beauty & intrigue of Cairns and surrounding areas when you try Microlight flying! Free Flying the Cairns Highlands you will be able to view the beautiful waterfalls, the rainforest which is considered to be the oldest one in the world, the Great Barrier Reef which is a natural wonder and the craters of dormant and extinct volcanoes. Your 2 seater microlight aircraft will make you feel like a bird. The flight can last for 30 minutes or an hour, it's up to you. The flights operate seven days a week from Mareeba which is located an hour's drive west of Cairns. Mareeba experiences almost 300 sunny days a year and is an ideal location for microlight flying. The weather is perfect for flying in the early morning before 10.00 am. Enjoy your microlight flight with a trained RAA instructor. Minimum age for this activity is 10 years old.
