General Conditions
INSURANCE EXCESS
The vehicle does come with an insurance cover, however in the unlikely event of an accident an insurance excess is payable by the hirer. For this vehicle there is a standard collision excess of $2500 for accidents with another vehicle and $4000 for a single vehicle accident. This is reducible for $22 a day down to $750. This insurance excess will be held as a bond until the vehicle is returned to the depot in the same condition as it left the depot.
DEPOT HOURS Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm. Weekends: 8.00am - 1.00pm. Closed on Christmas Day.
VEHICLE CHECK IN TIME Vehicle pick-up and drop-off must be between depost hours. Complimentary Cairns hotel pick up is provided within these hours.

Capsules, Baby seats, and boosters are available upon request.
24-HOUR HELPLINE Road service 7-day-a-week.
MINIMUM DAY RENTALS Minimum rental is one day.
ONE WAY RENTALS There is no one way rentals possible with this vehicle.
DAILY HIRE CONDITIONS Calculates the hire of the vehicle on a per 24 hour day basis (within depot hours) ie irrespective of the time of collection or return within those hours.
DRIVERS A current motor vehicle driver's licence is required and must be produced on pick-up. Should a foreign licence be in a language other than English, it must be accompanied by a current International Driving Permit, issued in the same country as the foreign licence was issued, or by an accredited English translation of that foreign licence.
DRIVERS AGE The above rates are valid for drivers aged 25 -75 years.
TYRE & WINDSCREEN DAMAGE
An extra $5 per day for tyre and windscreen cover.
RETURN OF VEHICLE The vehicle should be returned with the same amount of petrol as when it was picked up, and should be returned by the due time to avoid a late fee. There is also no refund or part refund for early return of the vehicle unless the vehicle has a mechanical issue not casued by you. If you wish to return this vehicle to the airport there is an additional $10 charge.
