The Island itself is a unique 6000 years old coral cay and is surrounded by fascinating coral reefs.Explore the underwater marine life that includes several species of fish, turtles, giant clams, eels, sponges, anemones and the like. They are part of a 37 acres protected Marine Park. Visitors to this amazing Island in Great Barrier Reef can indulge in nature walks in the rainforest, snorkelling, beach walk, observe the underwater world via glass bottomed boats or just relax in the swimming pool. The Green Island Transfer trip takes the visitor to the Island in the Great Barrier Reef via fast air conditioned catamaran from the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal in about 45 minutes time. The tour package includes return catamaran cruise, morning tea and coffee, self guided eco Island walk, entry to swimming pool and use of day visitor resort facilities.
