Island In Great Barrier Reef Code:frank
This tour to the Great Barrier Reef in the Frankland Islands is limited to 100 visitors at a time and is licensed exclusively to a single operator. The tour begins with a cruise on the Mulgrave River that takes the visitor to the Normanby islands, one of the 5 uninhabited islands of the Frankland Islands. This Great Barrier Reef Island is known for its pristine white secluded beaches, lush rainforest and great underwater life. The shallow water is full of green sea turtles, corals, tropical fish and huge clams. Guided snorkelling, diving and island walks are all part of this Great Barrier Reef Tour. Both experts and beginners can equally enjoy the activities on the tour as the latter are tutored by trained coaches. All the necessary equipment for snorkelling is provided by the tour operator. Coral viewing through glass bottomed boats or semi submarines are another attraction for visitors to this Island in Great Barrier Reef. Morning and afternoon tea, BBQ tropical gourmet lunch with prawns and fruits, transfers to and from Cairns are included in the tour package. For those interested in camping for an extended stay in the Great Barrier Reef Island, the nearby Russell Island provides great opportunity. However the necessary camping materials would have to be arranged by the campers themselves.
People who have asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, heart issues or some other medical conditions may not be allowed to do an introductory dive.
