This Kuranda Scenic Railway & Kuranda Skyrail tour takes you to a wildlife safari reserve too! Complimentary Cairns & Cairns Beaches accommodation pickup starts this tour in the morning, then board the Kuranda Scenic Rail which departs at 8.50am. An amazing journey awaits you as you travel one of the world’s most scenic rail routes through hand hewn tunnels and over bridges spanning spectacular gorges. A stop is made at Barron Gorge to view the Falls before arriving at beautiful Kuranda Station
Have 1 hour of free time to spend in Kuranda, looking at the local sites and attractions at your own pace. Then at midday, be shuttled to the Wildlife Safari Reserve for a guided walk of the Reserve, Cheetah feeding & Keeper talk. See the largest lion pride in Australia, meet a Sumatran Tiger, have a close encounter at bear mountain, view Rhinoceros, spot cheetahs, watch the hippos, lemurs, monkeys and much more. There are 3 large wetland lakes & a vast African savannah to cater to the diversity of wildlife.
After your wildlife experience tour, join Skyrail, the world’s most beautiful rainforest experience. Glide over the rainforest canopy aboard Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and enjoy a birds eye view of pristine World Heritage Rainforest, with stops at Barron Falls and Red Peak Station. Finally, top of your day with return transfer to your accommodation and enjoy Cairns Australia at night!
