Enjoy the relaxed comfort of the PS Murray Princess with small passenger numbers. Wetlands Discovery 3 Night Cruise Itinerary Day One - Friday - The famous Murray River paddlesteamer, P.S. Murray Princess departs historic Mannum mid-afternoon and heads upriver while passengers enjoy a Welcome Dinner. Cruise under floodlight to the overnight mooring at Craignook. Captain Cook Cruises resident on-board entertainer provides music. Day Two - Saturday - After a hearty breakfast, join guided nature walk to discover the local flora and fauna along the banks of the Murray River. Reboard your Murray River paddle wheeler and cruise upriver, past big river cliffs and an ever-changing countryside. At the 207km mark the P.S. Murray Princess will turn and head downriver to Fromm’s Landing where you have the option of boarding a discovery vessel for a Murray River backwater wildlife tour to explore the maze of backwaters, creeks and lagoons. Back on board your river boat cruise, the P.S. Murray Princess will cruise downstream to Piggy Flat. Enjoy dinner and the fun of the Murray River Cup. Day Three - Sunday - It's time to leave the paddle boat and go ashore to capture the spectacular dawn light. After breakfast leave Piggy Flat for more Murray River cruising. Participate in a talk about the riverland's bountiful food and wine trail from Captain Cook Cruises expert staff. Lunch is followed by Murray Bridge's Pomberuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Come with a Captain Cook Cruises guide to the information centre for a fascinating insight into these indigenous people of the region. Later that day the paddle wheeler will cruise to Mundarra where you can join the Captain and officers for pre-dinner drinks followed by the Captain’s Dinner & Dance. Optional Barossa Valley Tour (additional cost $119) - Discover the richest and best known-wine making region in Australia - the Barossa Valley. Depart Mannum by coach and be transferred directly to the Barossa Valley tour at Williamstown. Including three premium wineries, lunch and free time in Tanunda prior to returning to Adelaide at 5.30pm. Transfers - Car Parking is available at Mannum.
