River Fishing Trip Cairns Code: fttOur local estuary (Cairns Harbour) is a vibrant fishing ground right in the heart of Cairns, Australia. Enjoy a relaxing half or full day exploring this extensive mangrove-lined waterway. Our experienced local guide will use a castnet to catch live-bait which we find very successful for catching many species of estuarine fish. Theses include mangrove jack, fingermak, bream, grunter, salmon, queen fish, trevally and barramundi.Our boats are designed with padded seating and full shade canopies. They are fitted with live bait tanks and large eskies as well as full safety and electronic equipment. Light refreshments, and all bait and tackle are provided. On the full day tour, we have 1 hour's lunch break at the Pier Marketplace where you can grab a bite to eat and stretch your legs. Seasonal Rates
