A Kuranda Scenic Railway and Kuranda Skyrail tour for those with their own vehicle. There are two tour options, the Early tour starting at 8.10am, and the Late tour starts at 9.10am. Drive yourself or make your own way to the Caravonica Terminal and be shuttled to the Skyrail Freshwater Station. An amazing journey awaits you as you travel one of the world’s most scenic rail routes through hand hewn tunnels and over bridges spanning spectacular gorges. A stop is made at Barron Gorge to view the Falls before arriving at beautiful Kuranda Station.
Then you will have as much time as you like to enjoy Kuranda, the infamous village in the rainforest. With daily markets, hand-made icecream, rainforest bushwalks, and many tourist attractions, you can spend the time how you like.
Then join Skyrail, the world’s most beautiful rainforest experience. Glide over the rainforest canopy aboard Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and enjoy a birds eye view of pristine World Heritage Rainforest, with stops at Barron Falls and Red Peak Station. You will then be returned to your car at the Skyrail car park..
