Day 1: Your small ship cruise departs Cairns at 5:00pm, so settle into
your accommodations as you cruise Trinity Bay, before joining the crew and your travelling companions,
for a glass of champagne on the top deck to enjoy the glorious views.
Day 2: This morning discover Cooktown's rich history with an
optional visit to the fascinating local museum before setting sail for one of the
Great Barrier Reef's remote uninhabited islands. Join the marine biologist for a
breathtaking view of coral gardens and tropical marine life aboard a glass bottom boat.
Day 3: Beautiful Lizard Island is the view outside your windows as you
start the day, where you can join a guided walk to Cooks Look, relax on the
pristine sands of the Island's beaches, or join the ultimate Great Barrier Reef
experience of an unforgettable SCUBA dive. Glass bottom boat rides are also
available here, then in the afternoon cruise to Ribbon Reef No 9.
Day 4: Today is spent visiting two of the reef's most amazing sites - Ribbon Reef No 3 and Rachel Carson Reef.
Snorkel amongst coral gardens and marine life with your guide, and enjoy glass bottom boat tours.
A qualified marine iologist can explain the reef's evolution and natural history
to help you appreciate the local wildlife, including giant clams, sea turtles, rays and
a myriad of different species of native birds.
Day 5: Free time in the morning allows you to explore the cosmopolitan
city of Cairns, then reboard the Coral Princess for an 11:00am departure.
Enjoy a delicious lunch as you set toward the outer Great Barrier Reef. The ship
will anchor near Sudbury Cay & Thetford Reef.
Day 6: Ecplore Coates or Nathan Reef. Enjoy this morning, for a close up look at
colour starfish, sea cucumbers and the universe of marine life on this reef
area, then in the afternoon visit Dunk Island Resort. There is plenty of time
for you to enjoy the resort's top class facilities such as the resort pool,
cocktail bar ams so much more. Or if you prefer join in a guided nature walk on
the island and take in the fascinating local flora and fauna.
Day 7: A delicious breakfast is serves as your Captain Cook Cruises

group. Towering island cliffs, and the Hinchinbrook Channel views will take your
breathe away as you travel to Pelorus - your very own priovate tropical island.

Day 8: On the final day of your cruise, cross Halifax Bay and close to Magnetic Island before arriving in Townsville at 10:00am.
