Undara Lava Tube tour is a fascinating tour as you come across beautiful and impressive parts of nature's work. The journey to your tour destination is a very interesting & picturesque as you will be travelling through Mulgrave Valley to the Atherton tablelands from there. Witness extinct volcano craters along the way & experience a brilliant change of scenery after entering the Savannah plains. Refresh yourself at the Undara Lava Lodge in preparation for so much more to come in this tour. Undara has the longest and the best preserved lava tubes in the whole world. Undara Volcanic National Park is well maintained and accommodates a lot of visitors each day. The tour departs daily from Cairns at 7:30am from June til August. It operates three times a week (Wed, Thurs, Fri) for the rest of the year. Wear proper shoes for this tour as you will need sturdy foot wear to walk in the lava tubes.
