The mountainous coastline near Cairns Australia has fast, wild rivers that plunge through deep rainforest gorges on their way to the Coral Sea, and provides an ideal location for white water rafting.

Depending on water release from the local power station, there are up to three departures each day. On a raft carrying up to seven passengers, enjoy paddling in the scenic beauty of this ages old area. Rapids up to Grade 3 will encourage an action packed day.

Families and children under 13 years of age don't have to miss out on a White Water Rafting adventure in Cairns Australia. Sports rafts which allow for an adult and a child are available, and gentler rapids graded 1-2 are available in and around Lake Placid.
