Visit the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns daily aboard this sturdy catamaran as it makes its way to a large platform permanently moored at a fantastic snorkeling spot on the reef. During the day you will have ample time for snorkeling, riding the glass bottom boat, listening to the Marine naturalist presentation, take a semi submersible boat ride, watch the fish feeding presentation, enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch including seafood, experience the hands on "touch tank" and looking through the glass at the underwater observatory. The platform makes for an ideal base as it has a fully enclosed children's pool, freshwater showers and change rooms. With all your snorkel equipment included for those that want to swim there is a fully supervised snorkelling enclosure with rest stations which allow you to relax, rest and just watch the fish go by on your day out snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns.
Your Cairns snorkeling cruise departs Cairns daily at 10.00 am returning at 5.30 pm allowing 4.5 hours at the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Ascend over the city of Cairns for a 40-minute helicopter ride of the area. Zoom along the rainforest coastline and across the ocean to the Jewel of the Sea, Green Island. Next to appear under the helicopter will be Arlington Reef and Vlasoff sand cay. Be amazed by the incredible colours and formations of the Great Barrier Reef as you head back in your helicopter to Cairns for some aerial photography.
The coastal region between Cairns and the Cape Tribulation Daintree Rainforest is so beautiful. Enjoy postcard views of the Coral Sea against the backdrop of rain forest and mountains. The first stop on your tour is at the Daintree for morning tea before relaxing on a one hour wildlife spotting cruise on the Daintree River. You should see crocodiles, tree snakes and pythons in amongst the mangroves plus a large variety of birds. After the cruise you'll make a stop at the historic Daintree Village where you'll visit the Daintree Timber Museum and enjoy a first class lunch at the Daintree Tea House including the local barramundi fish, garden salads, and a tropical fruit tasting accompanied with fresh juice and tea/coffee. In the afternoon you will visit and take a guided walk through the marvelous Mossman Rainforest Gorge, a favourite with the locals, followed by a short by informative tour of Port Douglas well known for its rich and famous visitors. Next stop is a fascinating and entertaining look at Crocodiles at "Hartley's Crocodile Adventures", which is an animal park where you can stroll amongst the wildlife and see one of the best 'Crocodile Attack' shows in Australia. Following afternoon tea on the deck overlooking the lagoon, a 20 minute cruise on the Hartley's Wetland Lagoon provides guaranteed sightings of the estuarine crocodiles and many varieties of water birds. You can also view a Koala and Cassowary feeding session. When finished here you will rejoin your coach for the trip back to your accommodation. This tour operates daily with complimentary hotel pick up from Cairns at 7.30am, Northern beaches at 8.00am, Port Douglas at 8.30am, returning to Port Douglas at 4.45pm, Northern beaches at 5.15pm and Cairns at 5.45pm.

This scenic Kuranda Railway trip takes in the spectacular views from your ride up the Kuranda range on Skyrail. Your return trip late in the afternoon is via the Kuranda Scenic Train. Includes return Cairns accommodation transfers. You will have 3 hours to spend looking around Kuranda. The departure time is 9am and return is at 5.30pm
