Travel along 4 Wheel Drive - 4wd tracks to a private lake in the rainforest not far from Cairns. Shake hands with an Australian kangaroo, try boomerang throwing, taste local tea and coffee as you experience the thrilling of driving through a 4 Wheel Drive - 4wd course. Operates daily with complimentary pick up at 10.00am returning at 2.00pm and 2.00pm returning at 6.00pm. A minimum of 6 people are required for this tour to run. Cairns Tour (Code: bz) For the ultimate Cairns Tour on an ATV you will be hard pressed to meet the excitement, fun and challenge this Cairns tour has on offer. Two departures run each day with a pick up at your accommodation at 8.15am returning at 12.45pm and 1.15pm returning at 5.45pm. On arrival at this huge property you will be given a snack of tea/coffee and some original Aussie Damper bread. Take some time to explore the farm and view the authentic sheep dog round-up plus there is a chance to meet many of the Australian Native farm animals. Next it's onto a safety lesson and skills improvement obstacle course using the ATV's. After mastering the skills to safely enjoy your Cairns ATV tour you will be led away into the bush for two hours of ATV riding through rainforest, along creeks, past giant termite mounds, under massive blue gum trees and maybe you will see the odd wild native animal all under the guidance of your safety conscious guide. The overall tour portion usually lasts for 2 hours on the bikes before returning to headquarters for a BBQ lunch after the morning Cairns ATV tour and finger food after the afternoon Cairns ATV tour. Minimum age is 12 years, no licence is required and smaller ATV's can be provided for riders less than 16 years of age. An additional $12 insurance is payable on the day of travel.
