Afternoon Daintree River Cruise and Bird Tour, encounter 40 + birding species.
Visit coastal areas then experience the mighty Daintree River. This guided tour favors birds and crocodiles. Departure is from Port Douglas is on Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday at around 1.30pm and returns at around 6.00pm. Refreshments are included. Morning Bird / Wildlife Tour averages 55 + species. First stop looking for birds will be the coastal areas then wind your way up through tropical mountain Rainforest to Julatten Peak. Here we will encounter many birds, butterflies and marsupials.

Outback Birding Tour is a full day tour commencing at Julatten & is specifically designed for those who are travelling in North Queensland. Join the 4WD on a genuine outback tour. Renowned for expert guidance locating many species of birds in this rich birding area of Australia. Investigate dry eucalypt, riverine and wetlands in the westward flowing Mitchell River watershed & encounter Kori Bustards, Black Cockatoos, Galahs, Red Winged Parrot, Great Bowerbird, Apostle birds and many sedentary inland species. Departure is from Port Douglas on Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday at around 8.00am and returns at around 5.00pm. Lunch and refreshments are included. Rainforest Birding Tour is a half day tour covering many high level endemic species. Renowned for expert guidance locating many species of birds in this rich birding area of Australia. This half day tour commences at Julatten as is specifically designed for those who are on tour in North Queensland. See species such as Chowchillas, Fernwren, Toothbilled & Golden Bowerbirds, Mountain Thornbill, Atherton Scubwren, and from December - March, the rare Blue faced Parrot Finch from the comfort of an air-conditioned 4WD vehicle. Departure is from Port Douglas on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at around 8.00am and returns at around 1.00pm. Morning refreshments are included. Small group numbers are assured and you will see a lot of birds in their different habitats. (min 2, max 6 people) 
On this Cairns Birding Tour you will visit coastal and highland rainforest, open eucalypt woodland, grassland, wetlands, tidal mudflats, mangroves and farmland.
During the day you can expect to see around 100 different species of birds. The day starts with an early pickup from your accommodation for some of the best wader bird viewing in the world, along the Cairns Esplanade followed by some of Cairns lakes, rainforest, mangroves and parkland before heading out of town to some wetlands and grasslands. After lunch in the famous Kuranda Village its then off to visit rainforest, lakes, wetlands and some open woodland sites around the Atherton Tablelands returning back at your accommodation in the late afternoon.
Very small group travel is in a comfortable air-conditioned 4WD vehicle. Lunch and morning tea are included as well as reference material, bird lists and use of quality optical equipment. Pick up from your Cairns accomodation is at around 8.00am and drop off is at around 4.30pm. Operates most days of the year with no minimum number of people requirement.
