Cape Tribulation Daintree Tours
Enjoy a full day out on a Cape Tribulation Daintree Tour and learn about the World Heritage listed Rainforest areas of the Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Park. Learn about the local history and traditions, take an eco cruise looking for crocodiles on the Daintree River or just experience the spectacular scenery of the rainforest.
The coastal region between Cairns and the Cape Tribulation Daintree Rainforest is
so beautiful. Enjoy postcard views of the Coral Sea against the backdrop of rain
forest and mountains. During your day out in the Rainforest today you will
experience an eco-friendly and accredited tour starting off with a ride in Mossman
Gorge in an electric vehicle.
Be mystified in a traditional Aboriginal “Smoking Ceremony" as you are told the
history of the area by local indigenous people who discuss food, medicine and
hunting techniques. Then at the other end of the spectrum visit the logging town of
Daintree and the museum in the main street. Lunch will be fresh Barramundi before
a eco cruise on the Daintree River looking for Crocodiles in the wild.
In the afternoon you can shop in the resort town of Port Douglas or sip lattes on
the side walk watching the people go by. The day ends with a drive through the
famous village of Palm Cove and on returning to your accommodation in Cairns you
experienced not only a great day out but learnt the life of both our “Timber getters"
and Indigenous past, present and future.
We suggest you book early as this tour only operates on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays & Saturdays
